It was a bad alternator.

Last I knew, those warning lights tend to light up when alternator is not charging, or when key is switched to on position.

At least on my buddy's 744, his lit up when alternator was dead, and engine was running.

My problem with fuse 7 just started. My radio pins all test correctly, do not seem to be shorting out.
Even with the radio control head disconnected my fuse blows immediately. There is a strong spark that jumps out as the fuse touches the contacts, instantly blowing the fuse well before being seated ...

I'd be interested if your cold shift problems get any better with a few weeks of driving. That ATF stuff apparently has some powerful cleaning effects. If you have clogged passages of pumps maybe they will improve, maybe it'll stay the same.
