Now I don't feel so bad. Got a call from the Volvo dealer, they can't find anything as to why the ac isn't working. According to them there doesn't appear to be any reason the ac isn't working.

I have a good gage set, freon level is good but not having a high side port it's difficult to equalize the system. I tried to put in some freon low side pressure is at 55 psi. Air blows hot with the compressor running. Low side pressure drops to 55 psi from 85 psi when the compressor runs.
