Any step by step on a home repair?

The cruise control does not work. However, if i lift up the brake while driving the cruise control will engage, but once i let the brake back to normal it will stop.

Thoughts/solutions?

what is the difference between a transmission assembly for a turbo and a non-turbo 1998 s70? why I ask. I may be able to come into an s70 for next to nothing and it has some transmission issues. I am trying to calculate the cost of a worst case scenario (replacement) and the only remanufactured/used...

I am trying to make my 200k s70 look more like it did at 100k. The paint on the metal all seems good (a few scratches here and there but nothing terrible.
