Can someone please identify this part? I just finished installing a new radiator and was making sure everything was hooked up. I spotted this lying on the frame at the bottom below the motor. I don't know if I knocked it loose or what. Thank you for any help.

98 volvo s70 engine serial number

On the timing belt cover I have two numbers. The first reads ARTIKEL NR (P) 6821501. The second reads SERIE NR (T) 337984. Which is the engine serial number? Thank you.

98 volvo s70 T5 catalytic converter stolen

I need to get my 98 Volvo S70 T5 to a muffler shop to weld on a catalytic converter. The thieves cut it about a foot below the manifold. It is around 56 degrees here. Can I drive it to the muffler shop or should I have it towed. I am trying to save some money, but I do not want to warp the valves ...

Re: oil thermostat screws

Thanks for the tips. I will try cleaning the screws with a pick and spraying them out. I did buy the original Volvo lines and kit from FCP. $250.00 bucks, but probably worth it from what I've been reading. Again, thanks everyone. This is a great site!!

oil thermostat screws

I have a 98 volvo s70 t5. I am changing the oil cooler lines and cannot get the two screws out of the oil thermostat. I have sprayed them with SB penetrating catallyst and tapped on them. I don't want to strip them. Are they just T30 Torx screws? Any recommendations? The PITB bolt that bolts the ...

Re: oil cooler line replacement

Help. I cannot get the two screws that hold the oil thermostat on. I have sprayed them with SB and everything. Are the T30 screws also, or something else? Thanks. :?:

Re: oil pouring from somewhere above the oil filter

Sorry for the last question. I see your earlier post with instructions. It is a T5, but I don't think it's the turbo line so I thought that post didn't relate to this issue. Hope to get it fixed next week. Thanks again

Re: oil pouring from somewhere above the oil filter

If I order the new line, do I need any special tool to install it?

Re: oil pouring from somewhere above the oil filter

Everything looks to be intact. I believe it just came loose or blew off. I am not sure how to recrimp it. Can I cut the line above the metal collar and use two small hose clamps? Thanks.
