Locked Radio Question
The radio in my car is locked. I have seen the various threads about how to unlock it. I know how to unlock it I am just having a hard time with leaving it on for 3 hours without the engine running. The battery always goes dead before 3 hours time is up. So my question is this. How does the radio kn...

timing belt alignment question
I am really confused at this point. I have searched on this forum quite a bit between yesterday and today and I found lots of really great write ups on replacing the timing belt. The problem is that I have not found any pics showing the exact marks and how they need to line up. I am not sure which m...

Re: DIY: 1998 Volvo V70 Instrument Cluster Removal/Bulb Chan
I sure am glad I found this thread. I was ready to go out and find a new cluster because of the spotting on my cluster lens. Thanks for the helpful post about the headlight restoration kit. I tried that on my cluster and now it looks like new.

Re: I need some advise plz
It is an AWD V70. I'm sure that it does have it as the original dealer window sticker is still in the owners manual booklet and it is listed as a feature on this car. Well seeing as how I can't remove it what sort of maintnance is needed on that suspension if any?

I need some advise plz
My 98 V70 has that self leveling rear suspension. I don't really know anything about it, but when I look for suspension parts the majority of them say not for use with the self leveling suspension. Whats the deal with this rear suspension? Should I keep it or ditch it and go with aftermarket suspens...

What is this?
I was tinkering around with my car and I found this strange nipple that is not connected to anything. It has a bunch of oil on it and it seems to be connected to the block. Can anyone tell me what this is? And is there supposed to be something connected to it? The orientation of the pic is a little ...

It could also be the j-tube by the fuel filter - an easy repair https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=34426 After reading through this thread, I went out and looked at the car. I traced the lines from the tank ( the best that I could) all the way to the engine compartment...

Re: Just got my first one

So in that case that is probably the cause of the P0455 code but probably ...
