Ok so I installed it. I figured out that the radio had connections for an amplifier and since I wasn't installing am amp, I shouldn't have worried about it. I realized that I changed the sensor after the overheating took place, so I will try checking resistance. I did find a table, so do I just clean out the connection , if I figure out it is bad?

I jst replaced that but the overheating may have compromised it and I should change it again. I will try that. Thanks Rspi.
