Thanks guys, so this model does not have the dreaded electronic throttle? This car used to be the chilean ambassador's car before the more recent owners purchased it. How much mpg do u get in uphill situations? Why was the s70 made for only four years. 96-00?

Do you drive many hills in your volvo? I would drive in about 15 km in a uphill situation.

So i can expect 35 mpg at 45 mph on highway and how much mpg can i expect in city in stop and go traffic?
the 35 mpg is a little higher than than us epa estimate of 27 mpg highway.

Here in Nicaragua 45 mph on the highway is a typical speed.
