Well, after many attempts, I finally figured it out. Ignition pin configuration needed

In need the pin configuration for the plastic "dough-nut" connector on the bottom of the ignition switch. Tha car is a 1992 940. Can anyone help, please. My manual has vanished and have the wiring in pieces. Don't ask....a buddy of mine thought he was being helpful, but..... I need to conf...

Well, in a moment of desperation, me any my buddy took the rocker cover off to see what is going on inthere....just to make sure that the cam shaft is correctly aligned - it isn't. I don't have access to a compresssion tester right now, but the compression seems to be fiarly good...I can feel it as I crank the engine by hand.

Yes, air is getting into the cylinders.....mechanically, all seems to be ok. A mechanical fault would be unlikely to take down all the ignition lights on the dash . Having done a little more research I now suspect that one of the ignition relays might be the problem.

Any thoughts?

Engine refuses to start

My car cut out yesterday and had to be recovered home. I have perfomed all the mechanical checks I (and my buddy) can think of. The engine is still refusing to start. I have fuel and a spark to all cylinders. I do not have any of the ignition lights on the dash lighting up when I turn the key. Anybo...
