Thanks man! I saw the Nm thing and just wasn't sure that was what I was looking for... better to ask and be right than wrong and... well you know... You rule! The low port for recharging an 850 is located behind the left headlamp. The NM is the amount torque you tighten the cap. Do not overtighten.

Suprisingly, just about every Volvo model is different. Some have high/low ports, some just high or just low. I discovered the S90 2.9l has only a lowport schrader valve right next to the silver evap cannister. 850's have their lowport located just behind the left front headlamp. I followed the line...

Cannot be sure I have located the low port to recharge my a/c on my S90.
The port I found is located right of the silver cannister on the large metal line.

Does anyone know if this engine has only one port(low port) and not a high port?
