1997 960 Wagon 3522797 servo motor
I have a 1997 960 wagon and for the past year or so I have done without temperature control in the car, opting to just leave the heat exchange door open or closed, manually, while I procrastinated about this one part. The servo motor, part 3522797 / 4970, may or may not work. I have tested or replac...

Re: 1997 Volvo 960 a/c problem
I found the Vacuum Controller and also noticed a clicking noise when I moved the wires around a little. Pinching a couple of the tubes changes which vent the air flowed from, and at one point it seemed as if some heat came in, but never really full on. So I pulled it and it looks like there might be...

Re: 1997 Volvo 960 a/c problem
I have a similar problem with my 1997 960 wagon. I've tested the vacuum pressure at a couple spots, but can't find the tank under the car. Where is it? I see the photo posted on this page up there, but can't find it under the car. Is there a diagram somewhere that shows its location?

Need Help: Greenfield, MA. Heat. Please read.
Hi, I've posted elsewhere here about my problem of no heat: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=53197&p=266517#p266517 We re-attached the cabin light (yay!). No change on the heat. We hooked the hose up through the heater core, and water flows through in both directi...

Re: 960 wagon heat problems
Thank you. I will work to put the light assembly back in, even though the light itself doesn't work.
This should stop the blinking, however, I believe it is unlikely to fix the heat (but then again, what do I know?). Does anyone have any advice regarding that?

960 wagon heat problems
Hi, I have an issue with my 960 wagon. When I first got the car this past July, the AC light was flashing. I ignored it because I didn't really need the AC. I knew the heat worked fine, which I need up here in the northeast. However, a week ago or so the heat suddenly stopped working. It worked fine...
