Our 745 motor has a drain on the right side on the rear of the block- under exhaust manifold

there is a brass nipple looks like you could stick a hose on it and open--
two wrench job one to hold the fitting into the block and the other to open the "valve"

The firing order is 1-3-4-2
#1 cylinder is in the front of the motor

looking down at your distributor cap the
#1 is about 10 o'clock
#3 is about 2 o'clock
#4 is about 5 o'clock
#2 is about 7 o'clock

Does anybody know the torque specs for

the 8mm allen head bolts in the flywheel/pressure plate

and the 19mm head bolts for the bell housing to engine

Hi Jim,
I'm not sure that the 164 doors would fit BUT I'd bet that the 240 will not.
Do you have a digital camera? Take a picture of the 164 doors and your 144 doors from the same distance and compare.
We have 4 140s in our bone yard but we are in the wilds of British Columbia

Have you checked your brake vacuum hose?
