You have to drill them out I believe. You then purchase two new ones from Volvo (easiest route). Some of these column lock modules require a software download to activate them. Have a dead steering column module, stuck in the UNLOCKED POSITION. Was going to try to replace it. Removed both upper and lower steering column cowl pieces, but how to remove the two fasteners on each side of the unit? Thanks
