i finally got it. T30 security torx down the little hole on top. I tried a regular T30 screwdriver the other day and got nothing, but the security torx did the trick. gotcha. see what a BA in Daydreaming prepares you for?

i took off the cover, as was suggested, but found no screws inside (see attached). they're probably in there somewhere, right? some people have the knack for this stuff and some don't. i found out, years ago, which camp i was in. i was a liberal arts major.

I want to remove the cross bars from my roof rack. A T30 torx screw in the little hole, right? Or do I have that wrong? I looked in there with my flashlight and didn't see much.
