Re: 2011 xc70 prop shaft cv joint
I have taken the shaft out of my 2011 xc70. Yes it can be done without exhaust removal. Remove driveshaft cv bolts front and rear with a 8mm hex socket, a universal and extensions. I then unbolted the carrier mounts from the car. I started with the rear and then did the front carrier mount. Exhaust ...

I have a 2011 XC70 AWD that had a vibration in the driveshaft (propeller shaft) . I removed the shaft and it had a bad carrier bearing and possible bad rear cv joint. 2012 S60 vvt timing
2012 s60 with t5 engine. I have removed the vvt from the camshafts. I have the cam locking tool. The VVT units do not move by hand on the shaft. Is this correct ? Older versions were spring loaded. Do I just line up the timing marks on the cover? Seems too easy and I'm pretty sure that is what vida ...

get vida software, really inexpensive on ebay, pia to install but is a great reference on many models. Make sure you also get the wiring diagrams disks too.
