Re: 94, 940, Car cuts out at speed
I guess it could be but it's gotten worse.. now it cuts out at idle.. not bad enough to kill the engine but it does hesitate.. any speed on the highway.. hot or cold.. full or low gas... Not sure if it's the ignition cutting out or lack of gas.. I'll check more tonight...

94, 940, Car cutd out at speed
I been having a problem with my car seeming to cut out on the freeway. There's just a little bump in the forward motion when I'm cruising down the highway. It seems to be random and getting worse. The acceleration is OK and it runs OK at low speed like driving around town. I was thinking about the f...

If you haven't fixed it yet.. I had the same problem. Found the RPM sensor bad... On top of the transmission bell housing.. blew me away. It would run for a while then quit.. Everything else was good..
Hope it helps...

Re: 94 940 Won't start
After I posted this I found the RPM Sensor bad. I repositioned the wires and it started and ran. The wiring harness had worn and I taped it up but I guess I had a short or something. Anyway got it running again. I ordered a new one...

94 940 Won't start
I just got done removing the engine and got it back in. It ran fine when I put it back in and I let it idle in the driveway for a while. I even drove it around my property and it drove fine. I decided to go to the parts store to get some parts and test it out. It ran fine all the way, about 10 miles...

95 940 Pulse Air System
Is it OK to remove the Pulse Air System? Will it have and adverse effect on emissions? There are several things broken on it and instead of replacing all that stuff I thought I'd remove it...since I've got the engine out. I was going to remove the whole thing and plug it up at the exhaust manifold.....

Re: 94 960 Propeller Shaft removal
Got them off. I think the previous person that had the drive shaft apart put the bolts on backwards. The 17mm nut was towards the transmission. In any event with the help of my lovely wife we got them off.. Had to use a breaker bar and a 6" extension on the 15mm side to get them off.. Thanks fo...

Re: 94 960 Propeller Shaft removal
This is crazy.. you would think it was easy but I can't get a socket on the nut. It's in a pocket or something where you where it won't let a socket all the way down on the nut. The wall of the socket is too big. I'll try an extension but I don't think it'll work. The housing is in the way too. I'm ...
