Hi again, I have solved the problem with the intermittent fault with the immobiliser on my 2000 v70 classic,
I cleaned the connections and the key with a good electrical cleaner and it has behaved since.

Thank you for your prompt reply, it does start but now and then it won't, I then lock and unlock with the fob and its ok, starts first time , its not a problem but if I am out in the car with my young grand daughters I worry it might let me down.

Thanks again Mike for your prompt reply , my old boy is nearly thirteen years old , but with only 83000 genuine miles on the clock and in very good condition , I might treat him to a new set as you suggest.

Can anyone tell me if the headlights on a Volvo 850 would fit my 2000 Volvo V70 classic 2.4 petrol manual MK1, has anybody got any ideas?
My headlights are tarnished and won't pass the MOT in march 2014, gives me a bit of time to sort it.

hi again , I forgot to mention its is a non turbo model my garage fitted new plugs about 2 weeks ago my boy has only done 83000 genuine milage.
