Re: 2009 XC70 Rear Latch Won't Open

After about 4 hours, the door is finally open. It looks like the cable that unlatched wasn't getting pulled back far enough. Sounds easy, pull the cable more. Didn't work with this vehicle. We had to take the interior panel off the truck. On the bottom of the motor, just to the right of the middle of...

2009 XC70 Rear Latch Won't Open

Working on a 09 XC70 and the trunk won't open. Apparently they decided to do away with the key holes for manual opening. When trying to open the door, there is a noise as if it is unlocking, but just doesn't open. It's as if the latch is stuck. Checked in VIDA and everything seems to check out fine ...

Re: 2004 S40 O2 Sensor AND Catalyst Emmisions Failure

Ended up being an ECM software issue. We did a relearn through VIDA and fixed the issue.

Re: 2004 S40 O2 Sensor AND Catalyst Emmisions Failure

Replaced battery and both O2 sensors and have done 2 drive cycles since. Monitors still not reset. Will put on a hundred or so miles on it tonight and see what happens. Fingers are crossed that it just needs more driving and highway miles.

Re: 2004 S40 O2 Sensor AND Catalyst Emmisions Failure

Drove the car for the weekend and still can't figure this out. Could a possible intermittent O2 sensor cause the monitor not to reset, at the same time not throw a code? Typically an intermittent problem sensor would pop a code. At this point I am looking in any direction.

Just put it back on the lift to check. Don't see any leaks.

2004 S40 O2 Sensor AND Catalyst Emmisions Failure

Currently working on a 2004 S40 T5. Tried a few times to go through emissions and keeps coming back with O2 sensor and Catalyst as both not ready. No codes or pending codes. After a reset on VIDA, and a drive cycle, everything is coming out with ALL monitors reset, including O2 and Cat. As soon as i...

Re: 2007 XC70 Park Assist Problem

Double checked the wires and everything appears to be fine. Will do a little more research on some wiring and in VIDA. Will do the software when VIDA is activated again if all else fails. Thank you all for the responses.

2007 XC70 Park Assist Problem

Original problem: Park Assist button on CCM not illuminating, and Park Assist not working. Two codes along with the problem, REM-4F42 (Park Assist Sensor 1 Faulty Signal) & REM-4F4A (Park Assist Module Faulty Signal). Checked PAM and Sensors to isolate the problem, which was sensor lacking volta...

Re: DiCE not connecting to VIDA

Just a followup in case anyone runs into this problem. While VIDA calls for IE9, it ended up working on IE10 with compatibility mode turned on.
