I goes into reverse but kicks into reverse. It drives otherwise fine in reverse.
That can't be said about "D". :)
Anyways I hope the short test drive was long enough to make sure that ETM codes would have come up.

A small update.
So I installed the ETM from the other car after running two sweep test which looked fine.
Checked the fluid level in the transmission, erased all codes and took it for a test drive.
Well "drive"...
The car barely got rolling. However, the response to the gas pedal felt alot better ...

We measured 0.26 ohms over brown to ground so that seems fine.
BUT I could certainly not measure battery voltage over brown and green when battery was on (also when ignition was turned to II we only measured 1.2 volts.
I have no idea what that means and how this could be caused.

Does the ETM itself create a fault code if the voltages don't fit?
I have a hard time understanding why a different voltage would create fault codes if both sensors measure the same voltage and these are sent to the control module.

In other words: Which system acts up if the voltages don't fit ...

It's kind of hard to find out if that is a P2. P2 was introduced later in the US than in the UK.
They say the Volvo Production Seq. Number is: 543527. If that gives any clues?

Noone has a Volvo near by. It was concerning that I couldn't get the ETM sweept test to run after the test drive.
It's also concerning that you say there is no such thing as a timeout so that ETM Test window and VIDA get disconnected. Bummer.
I fear it could be some major problem but don't know ...

The ETM is from a B5254T engine in a V70 AWD.
Can I use it?
