Patch is self extracting archive. So
Unpack patch used in previous install and find 3 files.

Edit "license" file. It is XML and can be edited with any text editor.

9438298 (ETM reload) and 30677005 (ECM gasoline upgrade) that numbers is just for ordering.
Particular numbers of software depends on car MY and configuration.

DiCE requires Windows

I think they just want you to buy a new one from them.
So you need to have DiCE and laptop with internet and DiCE drivers installed on it. That is minimal requirements for remote programming.

I still think that BRAND NEW Etm has no firmware. Because i've seen ETMs like this with old software uploaded.
So I think that all "NEW" ETMs with working firmware are refurbished ones.

As I said you need to clear CEM first then SRS.

on 2002 MY seat belt buckle is connected to CEM !!!!
So errors should be cleared in both modules CEM & SRS.
