Thanks

Thanks, Bill. I was hoping that I was not going to have to search to the ends of the earth to find "special" springs. My S-70 has been a great car so far....now with 270k miles on the odometer, it has had very few problems aside from the "normal" delamination of the inside door p...

S-70 rear springs

Am going to tow a small popup type trailer soon with my non-turbo S-70. Anyone got suggestions on correct springs to use for towing?

towing a popup trailer with my S70

Anyone pulled a pop-up type trailer with their normally aspirated S-70? Any issues? How big was the trailer you pulled?

Hi, Just did the clutch shim adjust to my '94 855t w/250k miles. It has worked like a charm so far. My local Volvo shop said the clutch electromagnet is bad, but it turns out that the gap has exceeded the capacity of the magnet to pull it in when the engine is hot. Restoring the gap to app. .015 by...

This problem is often related to the shimming on the clutch and is not a bad clutch at all. Here is a good writeup in checking and reshimming the clutch which can be done without completely removing the compressor or evacuating the system. http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?act=attach&typ...

I can turn A/C on then off right away and it will work again.....anyway..... how big a pain in the a** is it to remove and replace the clutch off of the compressor without removing the whol...

Re: 1998 V70: Whirring noise after engine shuts off

Hi, everybody: My first post. I've got a 1998 Volvo V70, with about 130,000 miles on it. Has anybody out there had a similar problem? After I shut the car off, it continues to make a clunky whirring sound for a few seconds, particularly after a drive longer than 20 minutes, and after being on the h...

Fast Flashing blinkers

Strange. The only other thing I can think of is to swap bulbs side for side and see if it makes any difference. OK everyone, mystery solved. Fast flashing on the left turn signal was caused by a faulty socket. I had to take my voltmeter and put across the terminals and there just wasn't anything ha...
