restarting computer to read new sensors???

89 turbo wagon, did tune up, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, + oxygen sensor and air mass metor. car would start up and stall until it was warmed up, then it would idle eractly. also I did change the idle control valve. ok, with the new air mass metor the car idles and runs great, untill the turbo starts ...

Is there a way to lessen the restriction on these exhaust for the guy who doesn't have $1000 to $1500 laying around??? my thoughts, why not a van or truck cat, would they be less restrictive? elimiate the baffle thing, or what ever it is between the cat and muffler. then one of those muffler that ha...

Air Mass Meter Problem

Bought a brand new air mass meter, 89 740 turbo 171,000. car doesn't run bad, recently bought car and just decided to change to new parts. (cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, oxygen sensor,tps switch, over drive selonoid, air mass meter etc...) when i buy a used car I'd rather change...

when was the last time the cap, rotor, wires, and plugs replaced? when was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? in my opinion, right when you buy one of these cars you need to do the above mentioned, it narrows down future problems, regardless of what maintenence record state. if these things...
