Thanks so much for your help. That repair was a huge fail. I think the plastic was just too brittle. I tried to repair it off the vehicle before I saw your post. The idea of getting rtv pushed through the inter cooler worried me too. I ended up ordering a new part from a local Volvo repair shop.

Agree you will get turbo boost errors. I would not try to repair it as the piece needs to be some what pliable and the clamp will not sit very well. Personally I have never had luck fixing plastic in similar use situations. Maybe JB Weld Plastic will work. I tried another "glue" plus Sili...

Pay the $72.00 for a new one or patch it with JB Weld for plastic. If you patch it, let the epoxy cure overnight where it is warm. And now a broken intake piece?
So I was swapping the coil on #4 and as I was looking at parts I had taken off I noticed this piece is broken and brittle. I checked IPD to see if I could identify it but couldn’t find it. Can someone identify it?

Large Evap Leak 03 XC90 T6
I’m replacing an ignition coil and so I have everything off the engine for that. I also have a check engine light for a large evap leak. Anything I should check in relation to the evap leak while I have this stuff off? It’s preventing me from passing smog.
