Neil - yes I did change that bearing when I had the angle gear out. It was in poor condition and I thought it would help, but there was no change in the noise unfortunately.

Thanks Matt! I also tried those clip on microphones to listen to where the noise is coming from, but all I could make out was the entire front was noisy, and the noise wasn't coming from the back. I did proactively change the front wheel bearings with OEM a few years back, they might have 30k miles ...
