Volvo garage told me I might have a spun bearing and should replace the motor. Found a nice B5244T with low mileage but its out of a 2003 C70. Given that the motors are the same are there any issues that would prevent the 2003 engine working with the 2000 ECM?

alright replaced the oil pump...I haven't attached the oil pressure gauge but the car will run fine for about a mile or so and the light comes back on..I guess the next step is to pull the pan and head and do some internal cleaning.
