1999 V70 T5 rear brake hydraulic pulse/click
I've got a 1999 VOLVO V70 T5 with 195k miles on her. I've had a strange issue that I've had a lot of trouble figuring out. It's worth mentioning that I have the standard bbk (porsche 993 turbo front caliper, s60r rear calipers and rotors all around) and I can't remember if I was having this problem ...

Re: Removing lock from child seat bottom
Got it! If you look on the other side of the lock, you can see there is a little brass retainer keeping the lock in place. Pry the front edge of the brass retainer up over the lip in the wood and slide the retainer back (It takes some force) and the lock will simply slide out with a bit of wiggling.

Re: Removing lock from child seat bottom
Or at least does anyone know how to remove the seat cushion from the wooden panel? That's what's keeping me from getting access to the lock.

Removing lock from child seat bottom
Does anyone know how to remove the lock from the child seat bottom? There seems to be 4 torx bolts holding the mechanism onto the back, but two of the bolts are underneath the seat cushion. Does anyone know how to remove the cushion?

Re: 1999 v70 ac clutch never engages
Long delay... Anyway, the system had no freeon. I recharged it and the AC is ice cold. However, the condenser is leaking from one of the metal tubes off the side tank. The climate control error is CCM-414, which is related to the interior ambient tempurature sensor. I'll give it a good clean and hop...

1999 v70 ac clutch never engages
Hello. I have noticed that my ac clutch never engages, or makes any noise whatsoever. Inside the car, the orange lights on the ac and recirc buttons flash for a while when you start the car. The fan blows hard, but there is absolutely no ac. I hooked up a gauge from an autozone ac recharger and the ...

Re: 1999 V70 T5 Immobilizer issue?
And she runs! It was the fuel pump relay. I wonder if this is the reason my car would sometimes take 2 or 3 seconds to start. I opened up the relay and the mechanical part still moves freely. None of the capacitors are busted and nothing looks burned up. The only thing I noticed is this resistor tha...

Well it was a little jumper wire that came with an arduino kit. Less than half a mm in diameter.

Re: 1999 V70 T5 Immobilizer issue?
I'm at work right now, but earlier I jumped the two pins to the fuel pump amd it ran for a good 10 seconds before the jumper wire burned up. I yanked the wire out and it killed the engine so I think it must be the fpr. I feel pretty stupid now because apparently it's a common issue, but I didn't eve...

1999 V70 T5 Immobilizer issue?
Hello. I started my car yesterday and after about 10 seconds, the engine suddenly shut off. The transmission shift up light, ets light, check engine light, and battery light come on after it dies. The car will turn over, but not even try to start unless you lock the car, unlock it, and try again. I ...
