I just tried to replace my thermostat assembly. I got as far as draining the coolant, removing the timing belt cover, and trying to access the bolts (screws) on the assembly. Everything I've read including the Haynes/chilton's book requires the removal of the aux belt, and the power steering pump ...

Any pictures for the removal process? I just tried to remove and all I've read is removing belt and ps assembly. Before I take it in to Volvo I wanted to try and get the right tools for DIY
