My Indie tried to read the engine codes but claims the ECU would not give him any information so he said the ECU is NG. The car drives and starts fine now but just to be sure I am taking it to Volvo to do a complete diagnostic. I don't buy the bad ECU conclusion. I did have the PS reservoir replaced...

Any input into what may have been going on??? Could this have been related to the steering angle sensor???

I was able to get the car running. After I cleared the original message I got a check engine light along with a engine service message. I re started the car two more times and everything cleared. Not the fuses or relay....anyone tell me where the pump is so I can test it?

OK...after I got the fuel pump in and car running everything went back to normal. I pulled the shift lock up with needle nose pliers and the key released...thanks!

Thanks for the quick response...a factory hose clamp was in the way and acting as a stop...moved it and spun it off...10 mins later we have ignition!

No...it's a large black ring...doesn't want to un screw...it just stops. Should it fully un screw?
