I have some diagrams for 1994 960 that I downloaded from volvotips.com but they are not nearly as descriptive as to what the wires are connecting to, as this diagram is. I wish I had the entire set of wiring diagrams like this for my Volvo. (again a 1994 960)

It also could be a broken timing belt. If it is broken, which you can determine by removing the front half of the timing belt cover, the valves will NOT be damaged. You just have to realign the timing marks and put the new belt on. A manual is very helpful but you can probably find a video online to...

My speaker adapters came in today. I held one over the existing mounting points and the holes in the adapters line up perfectly. Very pleased. Now I'll buy some 5 1/4 inch speakers to go with them and install them.
