Today I could measure voltage at the gray connector. 12.5V. So sound from the pump.

Perhaps a cable is broken?

Go back and look for 12 Volts on the voltage scale at the fuel pump connector

The fuel pump isn’t on that diagram, you need a different one.

If you haven't done it already, it might be a good idea to test the system with a jumper wire between #87 and #15 on the fuel pump relay socket -- that will rule out the fuel pump relay which has a high failure rate.

My gasoline pump on my Volvo V70XC 1998 does not run.

I have tried to measure if there is any connection to the pump and there is not connection at all.

So I removed some interior at the back and checked if the pump, plus and minus, cable have connection with my DMM. Yes it has.

So I assume ...

What is your issue with insisting on Dex 4?
Dex 3 is cheap crap, can be bought for 3 bucks a bottle (or less) just buy a case and be done with it.
