Finally got that resistor module removed - tough to get at. Is there a way to test it, or bypass it to check the blower motor prior to dropping it? Hate to go through everything to remove the blower if it is only the power unit faulty. Thanks for any input.

Need to remove my accelerator pedal, but don't see how the connector comes off - some sort of clip seems to be holding it. Don't want to force something and break it - anyone know what the trick is?

I am getting ready to repair an intermittent blower motor in my 2007 S80 and would like to try replacing the resistor/power unit first. I have seen details for other model years, but nothing for a 2007 and could use some help on how to access this part.
