Re: 95 850T Intermittent start issue

So just a quick update.... It was indeed a bad Starter Solenoid. I went to change the starter out and the solenoid just practically spun when trying to remove the wires. Bought a cheap one for $60 on amazon. Not sure of the quality but it fit perfect and fired right up. The reviews were all good so ...

Either that or corrosion on the signal wire to starter.

Check and clean ground point beside battery and on the block. I would also fiddle around with the wires on the starter, clean with sandpaper

That was my next plan

Re: 95 850T Intermittent start issue

Because you just replaced the battery: could it be something simple like a battery clamp thats loose or a worn ground connection? Also, i guess we have starter relais that could get stuck on our p80s. Ive taken apart the clamp and cleaned everything as well. Right before I made the post I actually ...

95 850T Intermittent start issue

My car has been acting very strange when I go to start it. I'll turn the key and just hear the relay click. I have to turn the key about 2-4 times usually and it fires right up. I replaced the battery about 2 weeks ago and it worked great for that one day, then went right back to doing it. I thought...

Re: 95 850T No boost

So I feel really stupid. I took off the heat shield above the turbo to get to everything, and after I lifted it off I noticed the waste gate arm wasn't attached. I put it back on and proceeded to check everything. Not really thinking anything of it. Flash forward 2 days later I'm laying in bed at 5 ...

Re: 95 850T No boost

I checked all the vacuum hoses, did a smoke test and used some carb cleaner. Everything checked out fine. I did under the turbo as well to a few of the vacuum hoses. When I started the car, I revved it up and got this really bad smell and my car stumbled a bit when I let off the gas. So I am going t...

Re: 95 850T No boost

Check all the small vacuum/pressure lines from the TCV, carefully check the turbo intercooler pipes in inlet turbo pipe and connections. Also check the intercooler particularly along the bottom where it is more exposed for damage or cracks. The CBV is a possible and also the TCV itself. They are pr...

95 850T No boost

I was driving my car around today, went to change lanes and my car boosted normal. Then I went to change lanes again and the gauge barely went past the halfway mark into the white. I couldn't hear any turbo BOV noise or anything either. I floored it a few times and each time same result, virtually n...
