The mounting bracket for the air conditioning pump has to be removed, remove this first then remove the vacuum pump once the vacuum pump is removed then remove vacuum pump hose it is much easier to remove this hose with the vacuum pump removed.

I have the exact same problem with my 2007 XC90 tried several different products 20/20 cleaner for one nothing did any good it is really annoying at night I suspect the dealer sprayed some kind of product on the dash and got it on the lens as well would love to get rid of it as well !!

There is a switch below the radio which turns the child locks on and off

I have a 2007 xc90 3.2 eng. I installed the brake vacuum pump rebuild kit I purchased from Volvo
and I was very careful when I installed it to clean all matting surfaces but after installation it still leaks !!
any suggestions what to do now would be greatly appreciated.

2007 xc90 3.2 with 140k it has a small oil leak coming from the brake vacuum pump I read there is a rebuild kit available has anyone rebuilt this pump ? how long did it take ? where to get the parts? is there a video available ?
