ok gotcha several people mentioned that removing the thermostat housing and putting it on a bench and straightening it out with a rubber hammer and some wood. i actually bought another unit off ebay and going to be hooking it up here in the next few days i will also be installing new bolts/hose brac...

Good deal man glad this solved your issues its really ironic when you dont have a check engine code specifically for the crankshaft position sensor and then you replace it and everything clears up.

Good deal man you see even though you didn't get a code for this crank sensor they usually give out a code when they go out it get can confusing when there is no code just like in my situation same thing misfires every cylinder i replaced the crank sensor and its been running great ever since.

Hmm, Not 100% sure on this supprised no one else has chimed in this can be a complicated process dropping the tank is not easily done most vehicles like the 850 have an access panel in the trunk or cargo area that when removed allows access to the area you need to get at. Symptoms of a failing crankshaft sensor---- Acceleration Problems As the engine speeds up, there needs to be adjustments to spark timing and fuel injection...
