Drain and filled once. Should I do it again?

It smells burnt. We drained it out refilled and added some Lucas tranny fix. Didn't help. Even after the fresh fluid it looks black and smells horrid.

After removing the pcv nipple I broke the plastic hose and forgot where it went. I have a 2000 v70r so it's a little different then everything I've found so far.
