Have changed plugs, oil, trans fluid and filters. Have the minor 2-3rd flare too. Is the poor man's Reset Adaptives method.... i.e., disconnect batt, NEG 1st, for 30 min, touch cables together for 5 min, then reconnect POS 1st while ignition key in 2nd position.... appropriate? Great stuff Precopster. It'll take me some time to get my head around all of it but I think its encouraging. Will probably look at the rebuilding myself option to start. Maybe a You-Pull-It or Pick-Ur-Part yard for one to work with.

What is actually taking place when there is slippage or unevenness in the shift from 2nd to 3rd. Seems to function well prior to warm-up but…?
