I have a s80 2006 2.5t AWD. My car check engine light comes on at half tank and throws the code p0089. I've replace the fuel pressure sensor and fuel pump and module. I have even bought a new gas cap. everytime i fill up the tank the light goes away on its own but when it gets to half tank it comes ...

ok switch back to original fuel pressure sensor and now just p0089 pops up. Does this mean it's the Fuel pump control module

These codes keep popping up. I replace the fuel filter, fuel pump, and switched out the sensor with a couple used ones. Would anyone know what would be my next step or have any idea what the problem could be.Im thinking maybe the fuel pump module but I hope not ...

My car seems to be sputtering and stalled on me the other day when I was using the AC....Ive got a brand new fuel pump in and I replaced the fuel pressure sensor but it's still sputtering and lacks power....Could it be a fuel regulator(damper) or fuel filter or even a relay problem??? ...Does anyone ...

So I added some A/C lube and Freon to the system and the assembly fan quieted down...like a baby with a bottle..Big thanks to @vovo_merz for the help
