no fire with ether = no spark. possibly a relay or fuse.

if one motor mount is bad the others are not far behind. Take a spoon full of medicine and just get it out of the way.

I cant believe there is no check engine light/mil codes. If you have access to a cheap obdII scanner you can check all your values these are fairly cheap on ebay and are priceless in your tool box. I picked mine up for $40. runs the real time data.

does this model have a vacuum port downstream from the MAF? my 96 850 had one that broke and it is a bit out of site the hose connects to a port that mounts the air box bracket.

have you checked fuel pressure? Do you have any codes? I had a MAF go bad car ran great for a few minutes died and started right back up. replaced it and now runs right as rain. throw us a bit more info and lets see what happens.

I betting if he looks under the distributor he will find the rear cam seal has blown out. I kept putting my dipstick back in and that's what happened. doing a complete pcv/oil trap service as soon as the parts arrive
