It was warm when it happened a few days ago. She filled the tank today and the car ran fine. It was 83 degree here today.

My daughter's 240 sputters and dies when it gets down to just over a quarter of a tank of gas. Seems to me I've seen other posts with a remedy to this problem. No other problems or symptoms until the tank empties to this level. Any suggestions?

Following Up - The remedy to this mystery appears to be a combination of several things... 1.) Replaced the coolant temp sensor 2.) Pulled in tank fuel pump. The pump was not connected to the rack.
