I have an '04 V70 with manual passenger seat and found a pigtail taped up under the carpet on the passenger side that I think is the heater supply. I put a power seat w/o heat in it and it seems to work with the original wiring and software, did not yet connect the heater supply wires.

I went back and pulled the '01 chassis harness ends so I can get reliable connections, but I hate to cut and splice up the factory harness....so might put need to find a seat connector from an '02 with power seats to put on the 01 seats. Seems like the scrapyards are full of only '01 models ...

I recently moved to FWD era ( have owned many redblocks) got an'02 V70 with a trashed interior- manual seats and pulled power seats from a yard 2001 XC70 and it appears that the difference is that they moved to a single ganged connector on '02 from the individual harness connections.
