So I did the SAS delete with the ECU diode fix yesterday. Works awesome, the pump doesn't fire up. Interesting side effect that I noticed is that The idle seems to be lower RPM, and I noticed it a lot when I'm off the throttle and applying a little to medium amount of braking, I get more than normal...

That switch is very finicky, it went bad on my car. I havent needed to completely replace it yet but the simplest is probably IPD or a junk yard for replacement.
