My ECC controlled v70 does have the fresh air/recirculate motor, located behind the glove box.
Is that what you mean "below the cabin filter"? It is functioning properly.

Neil, Thanks for the information. What you found on Vida does confirm what I'm seeing with 4 damper motors. So now I'm wondering, so how does the air get directed to the windshield when the ECC is set to defrost? Also, currently my A/C condenser has a leak, and the A/C is not operating. Could this p...

Neil/Lee,
This picture shows what I believe are the Ventilation Damper Motor, and the Driver's Side Temp damper motor, based on the wire colors going to the harness connections.
Am I missing something?

98 V70 Defrost/Floor Heat issue
Hi All, I always use MVS, but this is my first post. I'm not getting any heat to the floor, or heat to the windshield for defrost. I've been all through MVS to find possible problems. At this point, I can't even locate the Defrost/Floor damper motor to determine if it's defective. Can someone help w...
