I'm relocating to TX from WA and need to know if there's any foreseeable problem with my 2004 XC70 towing my husband's 98 S70. This move was planned to a "T" and now everything is falling apart. Don't want my car to do the same. Right now I have the towing receptacle without the hitch yet....

Can anyone tell me how to replace the ashtray assembly in a 98 XC70?

And since I started the thread with a question, thought I'd give my outcome. The dealer said my particular case was a simple adjustment. When the roof opens by sliding, it wasn't quite closing all the way (not visible) and therefore when it was opened by angling, it wasn't in the exact right positio...

I actually checked swedespeed also and didn't get results with a search. Figured I was doing it wrong. Just tried again. (If in doubt, READ WHAT IT SAYS!) Search isn't working; says try again later ...dah

I have the same problem on mine. I tried silicon lubricant but it didn't work. It looks like the rubber is too tight. I should say that I changed it because the frame began to rust. This was before or after you changed it? If it was after, please let me know if you figure out how to resolve it and ...

My 1998 S70's moonroof doesn't close tightly unless I step out and give it a punch. I've cleaned the track area but there really wasn't anything there. Any ideas? Can/should the rubber be lubricated in any way? It looks like it has some mold or pollen or something (green) on it. This is western Wash...
