Re: Dash light emergency/hand brake
beigg, indeed, on position I only SRS light is on, on II all the other ones, including e brake. Once I start engine, ALL lights are off, even with e brake engaged. So, the light itself is fine, and the new switch does not help. What else can go wrong? Is there a dedicated fuse? Connection to the mai...

Dash light emergency/hand brake
Dear Forum, my 1997 V70's e-brake dash light does not light up when I engage the brake. It does light up in ignition position I and II, so dash light itself seems to be ok. I did replace the switch in the console under the lever, no change. I wouldn't care to much, but: Last year I forgot to release...

Re: Automatic Transmission Fluid '97 V70 na
Ok, using Robert's instructions from the video (checked with motor running, after 30min drive through town) I read a level close to minimum.
Will do a drain and flush next and refill drained amount.

Re: 850 hood latch cable
theWIFES_S70,
something like that, yes. It's below the turn indicator, in front of the right front wheel.

You asked for a dirty hack
:
Works fine since some time ... it's just dangling under the hood, basically.

Automatic Transmission Fluid '97 V70 na
Dear Forum, the transmission fluid in my '97 V70 na is somewhat over max. As far as I can tell from the indicator stick, readings differ depending on orientation, but it always indicates to much. It's been like this since 25k km now, since I got the car. I wonder if I should do something about it, p...

Re: Volvo V70 Fault codes
Hey John, my 97 V70 has the same arangement, and I had trouble with some commercial (expensive Bosch) ODB reader. Seems it's somehow a year between under-the-hood-LED and obd-only that confuses the Bosch OBD reader. However, I put together this together https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewt...

Re: '96 Platinum Wagon: broken timing belt. 7:18am Topic is solved
Hm, I put in a new SKF water pump about a year ago. Now I wonder if maybe Aisin would have been a better choice.
Any experience with SKF pumps anyone?
It is doing fine, though, up to now.
