Did some digging and came to conclusion that the Chinese built PNP is faulty (even after rebuilding it). IPD had Volvo ones on sale so I got one of those, let's hope this fixes my issue.

Since the switch pulls signal to ground, would it be beneficial to add a ground wire to one of the mounting studs?

Messed around with the software some more, it's throwing an AT-313 code. So that points to a faulty PNP switch correct? Even though I put a new one in doesn't mean it's good right?

I was able to download a certain copy of VOL-FCR SW but it doesn't give me the option to clear codes or really do anything. It is giving me an EFI-666 code, which from what I can find is a generic code for transmission trouble. SO I'm still digging for a good software, I did register on that german ...
