What module is that? ABS or something different?

I've just read these two codes on my 2000 V70.

I also read P0722, which is Output Speed Sensor Circuit, which reads "no signal".

The symptoms were; check engine light on, speedometer quit working, upshift light blinking in Drive, and slow takeoff in Drive.

I got a new blower motor and "resistor"/transistor speed control from eBay. The blower cost $48.73 and the control was $81.38. This was much less than anywhere else I found.

It sounds like I need to replace both the motor and the speed control transistor. The problem began with the motor running slow, which may have ruined the speed ...

Now the motor will not run at all at any selected speed. I guess I'll have to remove it and jumper it again. The motor spins freely enough by hand, so it's not a dry bushing.

Is there any way to test the resistor? From what I've read, this type of resistor with the aluminum vanes seldom fails ...
