Re: S70 air bag removal/disconnect
The steering wheel bag can be removed completely with relative ease but the SIPS bag on the side of the seat is a bigger challenge. There is a safety device that slides into the trigger that is supposed to disable the SIPS but I don't know that I would trust it in a racing environment. A Recaro rac...

Re: S70 air bag removal/disconnect
Thanks Lee! I'm all in favor of leaving as much of dash in place just avoid the possibility of getting snip happy and trying to chase down the appropriate cut wires

S70 air bag removal/disconnect
I hope I don't hurt anyone's feelings but I bought a S70 for son to start out in circle track with. How or is it even possible to disconnect or remove airbags? If sensors are cut or unplugged will this set off a safety switch disabling the engine. Thanks in advance

850 not getting fire from distributer to plug wires.
Alright trying to help a friend out with his 95 850 glt. Changed coil out and still not getting fire to plug wires. Distributer is not cracked. Could faulty TCU or ECU cause this issue?

Re: Ignition fuse keeps blowing.
The long way around proved to be a tedious job but worked out. I went through about 4 boxes of 15 amp fuses to narrow it down to main engine relay and relay #104 I think. It's running again and I'm very appreciative of all the input

Re: Reversed jump start 1993 240 sedan
I changed the relays in main fuse box that had a j on top of it and the main engine relay. It was a tedious task that left me with 4 empty boxes of fuses so I hope this helps you out.

Re: Ignition fuse keeps blowing.
That's the fuse that actually feeds the ignition switch itself. From there it branches out to several things, including accessory overload relays 105 and 106. One way to deal with this is take a picture of the fuse box, pull all of the other fuses and start putting them back one at a time with the ...

Re: Ignition fuse keeps blowing.
I took out all the bigger fuses 50 amp and 60 amp. With key turned to on position the #6 60amp fuse labeled power to fuse box and aliment. Bootier fusib is sending the power to #10 15amp ignition fuse.
