S60 2003 base model here, the brake vaccum switch is broken and the connector can't be plugged in. As far as i know this will cause poor braking when the car is cold right?

The system has two modes...recirc ( inside air) or outside air. Which one gives you flow when the car is stopped?

With all my other cars i can feel wind blowing through the vents when going at some speed ...

So upon close inspection the air does flow when having recirculating or outside air mode ON (no a/c nor fan) but it flows very little even when going at moderate speed. Is this normal? Or could there be something severely affecting air flowing through vents?

I removed the cabin air filter just to test but air still doesn't flow through the center vents or any vent.

Air does flow when selecting a/c, it only stops flowing when recirculating or outside air only is selected.. am i missing something here?

Hi, before I take the car to a shop I'd like to ask if there's something i can check. I have a 2003 S60 non turbo and when filling gas the pump would click and stop as if the tank was full (it's not). It feels as if the gases don't vent as sometimes i can see the gas returning and almost coming out ...

My car was also stalling randomly when braking to a stop (2003 S60 base engine) it turned out the hose on the map sensor was disconnected from the engine vaccum point, and it doesn't stall now plus it runs much better. Might be worth it to check vaccum leaks
