Hi all, Thank you all for your support. So I don't need to follow any extra procedures, just follow as usual. But to add to what "scott850" said, I have also followed the same procedure before for other cars; "while disconnecting: -ve 1st and then +ve, while reconnecting, +ve 1st and ...

Dear all, I am new to this forum. I own a 2000 V70 Classic (I guess MK1 or P1). I have a bad battery which I am hoping to replace immediately. I have heard and read different opinions about Volvo V70 battery reconnect procedures. Some say that for the mk1 models, one doesn't need to put the ignition...
