Re: Fuel Pump Died Again? 2003 V70

So I looked under the car and could not find the PEM. I didn't see anything on top of the tank.

I attached some pics of my metal fuel tank. The second pic is of the top right corner of the tank. Any ideas?

Re: Fuel Pump Died Again? 2003 V70

Hey guys I want to update the thread.

I bought a new oem Bosch fuel pressure sensor and put it in yesterday. Car started up and I drove it half a mile up my street and back. Drove fine.

Today I started it up and drove 3 miles. At 3 miles it died on me while I was going uphill and I pulled over ...

Re: Fuel Pump Died Again?!?!

I have error code P0089 which is the fuel pressure regulator. However, from my understanding this could mean a few different things are wrong; not just the fuel pressure regulator. Also, I think the fuel pressure regulator is part of the fuel pump in my car?

Fuel Pump Died Again? 2003 V70

Hi guys, I have a 2003 V70 base 2.4 non-turbo with the metal fuel tank. I had only been driving about 2 minutes when the engine suddenly lost power/rpms dropped and died about 5 seconds later.

I tried starting it and it just cranked over. It has the same symptoms the last 2 times I replaced the ...

Re: Timing Belt Moving?

I will be so happy if getting the crank lined up correctly solves my power problem. The car is an absolute slug off the line unless I really lay into it.

Re: Timing Belt Moving?

I've watched the videos. I just haven't seen one where somebody had the problem I have and had to take the belt off and line the crank up separately. I would imagine it's a logical process though.

Re: Timing Belt Moving?

How can I get the crank lined up properly? Even if I take it somewhere, I'm curious on the process of lining the crank up.

Is it just a matter of taking the belt off and then getting the crank lined up (as well as keeping the cams lined up of course) and then putting the belt back on while keeping ...

Re: Timing Belt Moving?

Here is an update.

I started the job and got to setting the timing marks on the cams and crank. The cams would line up perfectly but the crank would be too far to the right from where it should line up properly. If the crank was lined up properly, the cams would be a few teeth to the left of their ...

Re: Timing Belt Moving?

Okay, and how would I get everything to line up properly if it doesn't line up? Such as the intake cam mark lines up but the exhaust cam mark is pointing to 3 o'clock? Sorry if these questions seem obvious to you guys, i'm just trying to learn as much as I can and double/triple check everything.
