06 S60 2.5T FWD. about 18 in rural driving and 20 on mountain highway driving.

I have a 06 2.5T FWD I recently changed one coil, a fuel pressue sensor and plugs and went from 18 mpg to 20mpg driving through the mountains of Eastern Kentucky

So I've wondered this since getting my S60. I've noticed the passenger side tail light has like a reflector in inside tail light but driver side does not. Why Is that?

Solved! It was coil pack 4! I forgot about it after testing all other cylinders and get distracted by the purge valve and temp sender. But along the way I found that the temp sender was failing too! Misfire be gone though. Attached is a dirty but happy Bette!

So I ended up disconnecting the Temp sender this morning as i did the unit clip snapped so the part is a bit oxidized and started the car. It was sluggish to start (cold morning) but it fired up and didn't skip a beat after that. Going to order the sensor from FCP and replace it soon. I will update ...

Is it possible to run the car without the temp sender connected for an experiment

I think I might need one. But on a side note where is it at on the motor
